The Luxury Wine Group of E. & J. Gallo has confirmed its acquisition of Rombauer Vineyards, a California-based winery celebrated for its high-quality wines and sustainable farming practices.

Established in 1980 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer, Rombauer Vineyards has earned acclaim for its well-rounded, fruit-driven wines over four decades. The deal includes the Rombauer brand, three winery and production facilities, two tasting rooms, and more than 700 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards across various regions.

K.R. Rombauer, son of the founders, expressed his delight over the partnership with Gallo, a family-run business sharing their passion for exceptional wines and sustainable land stewardship. Joseph C. Gallo, Vice President and General Manager of Gallo’s Luxury Wine Group, pledged to honor and build upon the legacy of the Rombauer brand.
