A law enforcement dive team recovered the body of a 74-year-old golfer at an Oldsmar subdivision Sunday morning, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
Hermilo Jazmines, of Lutz, was last seen at 7:37 a.m. on a golf course in East Lake Woodlands. He went off to search for his ball at Hole 3. Deputies later found his golf cart on the path and his putter near the water.
Divers found Jazmines in the pond, not far from the putter. Authorities believe he fell into the water and drowned. His death did not appear suspicious, according to the sheriff’s office.
