The storm bringing heavy rain to the Valley floor and snow in the Sierra is expected to weaken Monday.
But continued unsettled weather will continue into Wednesday, the National Weather Service in Hanford said.
Conditions are expected to dry out, with temperatures rising by the end of the week and into early next week.
After Fresno received a trace of rain Saturday, nearly an inch fell Sunday. The .84 of an inch brought the 2019-20 rain year total to 6.70 inches and ensured that this won’t be one of the 10 driest years on record.
The seven-day forecast after Wednesday calls for sunny or partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s.
