Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Kingsburg Housing Development

A small plane made an emergency landing in a Kingsburg housing development Friday after a mechanical issue, and the pilot was able to walk away, according to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office. (Kingsburg FD)

A small plane made an emergency landing Friday in a housing development in Kingsburg after experiencing a mechanical issue, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The plane landed in Kings Estates Homes, a home building development.

The sheriff’s office said the pilot was walking around after the landing. Emergency responders were called to the scene.

No additional information was immediately released.

GV Wire’s news partner KMPH reported that the pilot suffered minor injuries.
