A 32-year-old suspect was taken into custody Tuesday after a shooting at a Goshen gas station left one person wounded, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were called shortly after 11:15 a.m. to the AM/PM gas station at 6670 Betty Drive for a report of a shooting victim.

When deputies arrived, they found both the victim and the suspect, authorities said.

The victim suffered a single gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The suspect was taken into custody.

Sheriff’s detectives remained at the scene Tuesday afternoon investigating the shooting.
