Fresno police stopped 62 vehicles and issued 65 citations Sunday evening during targeted enforcement at known car meet and street-racing hot spots across the city, the department said.
The Fresno Police Department’s Traffic Unit conducted the enforcement at several locations identified as gathering spots for car meets and street racing.
Police said officers responded to one call for service reporting a car meet and took enforcement action as needed.
The operation resulted in 65 citations, three misdemeanors, two DUIs, and one vehicle being towed, according to police.
