Emergency crews responded to Nishimoto Elementary School after a driver experienced a medical event while driving and pulled into the school parking lot Friday, according to the Madera Police Department.

Police officers and emergency medical personnel responded to the school after the driver pulled into the parking lot to wait for assistance.

No students or staff members were involved in the incident, police said.

The driver received medical treatment. Police did not provide additional information about the person’s condition.
