A break-in at a River Park Shopping Center shoe store has sent the owner to the public to plead for help in covering the losses.

Security footage from high-end sneaker store DripOnDrip shows thieves breaking into the store Monday morning, ransacking the business, and stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

“A group of men not only took a significant portion of our clothing inventory but also left behind a trail of damage, impacting not just our store but our entire dream,” said store owner Roman Gonzales on a GoFundMe page. “The heartbreak is real, and we’re reaching out to the amazing Fresno community for support.”

Gonzalez opened DripOnDrip in 2019 with his son, Isaac. The store is along the parking garage near the shopping center’s security office. They sell collectible sneakers and other clothing. Some shoes sell for as much as $450.

Gonzalez wants to raise $50,000 to help rebuild the store.

GV Wire’s Attempts to reach Gonzales were unsuccessful.

“Let’s stand together, Fresno,” Gonzales said. “Your generosity will not only help us rebuild but will also keep the spirit of entrepreneurship alive in our community.”
