Evacuation orders were issued Wednesday for residents and businesses in three Fresno County zones as firefighters responded to the Raleigh Fire, authorities said.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said evacuation orders are in effect for Zones K143, K14,5 and K146 in Auberry.
Deputies are conducting door-to-door notifications to alert residents and businesses in the affected areas.
Firefighters were working to contain the blaze, while Auberry Road was closed between Highway 168 and SJ&E Road.
According to CalFire, the Raleigh Fire was reported Wednesday afternoon and had burned 15 acres as of 3:22 p.m. The wildfire remained active with 0% containment.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries, fatalities or damage to structures were reported.
