Visalia Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Smoke Shop, $6,000 in Lottery Tickets Stolen

Police are investigating an armed robbery after two men stole approximately $6,000 worth of lottery tickets from a smoke shop in Visalia on Wednesday, according to authorities.

At about 8:40 p.m., officers with the Visalia Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at 5 Kingz Smoke Shop on North Ben Maddox Way.

Police said two men entered the business, stole the lottery tickets, and fled the scene before officers arrived.

No injuries were reported.

The department’s Property Crimes Unit is handling the investigation.
