Fresno Traffic Stop Ends in DUI, Drug Arrest

A 41-year-old man was arrested Wednesday evening after a traffic stop for an equipment violation led officers to determine he was intoxicated and in possession of suspected narcotics, police said. (Fresno PD)

A man was arrested Wednesday evening on suspicion of driving under the influence and possessing suspected narcotics, the Fresno Police Department told GV Wire.

At approximately 6:58 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation near Fresno Street and Belmont Avenue.

The driver, identified as Pedro Segura, 41, was found to be intoxicated and in possession of suspected narcotics, according to police.

Segura was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
