Showers and possibly a thunderstorm are expected Tuesday in the Fresno area, with a high near 64 and a 100% chance of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service.
East-southeast winds around 10 mph are expected, with gusts as high as 20 mph. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and a half of an inch are possible.
Tuesday night, showers are likely with a chance of thunderstorms before 11 p.m., then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m., followed by a slight chance of rain after 2 a.m.
Skies will be cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 47. South winds around 5 mph will become calm after midnight. The chance of precipitation is 70%, with new rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch expected, though higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.

On Wednesday, there is a 10% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Otherwise, it will be sunny with a high near 67. Light and variable winds will become northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Wednesday night will be mostly clear with a low around 44 and northwest winds 5 to 10 mph, with gusts up to 15 mph.
Thursday will be sunny with a high near 71 as winds become west-northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 50.
Friday is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 75. Friday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 50.
Saturday brings a 10% chance of rain after 11 a.m. with a high near 69. Saturday night carries a 20% chance of rain before 11 p.m. with a low around 50.
Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 70, and Sunday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 49.
