Clovis Police Arrest 32 Drivers for DUI in February

The Clovis Police Department reported handling 7,174 calls for service in February, including 364 arrests and 32 DUI arrests, according to it monthly “Spotlight” report released Friday.

The department recorded 89 collisions, 31 vehicle burglaries, and five residential burglaries during the month. Dispatchers answered 2,876 911 calls.

Clovis Police said the report is part of an effort to keep the community informed about police activity, providing snapshots of patrol work, traffic enforcement, and crime prevention.

Clovis Police also offered crime prevention tips for residents. They advised reporting crimes in progress and suspicious activity immediately, always locking doors and setting alarms, and using exterior lighting and security cameras.

Residents were encouraged to avoid leaving valuables in plain view, check their mail daily, be aware of skimming devices when making purchases, and keep a record of serial numbers and descriptions for valuable items.

Police said emergency assistance can be reached at 911, while non-emergency calls are directed to (559) 324-2800.
