More than 10,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 9:19 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing Claude Chat issues.

Claude AI’s status checker said, “We’re currently investigating issues with Claude Code and Claude.ai. Some users may be unable to log in, and others may experience slower than usual performance. The Claude API is not affected.”
