An Earlimart woman died Sunday night after she was struck by a car during a domestic dispute, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called around 11:45 p.m. to the area of State and Sutter Street for a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian.

When they arrived, they found a woman who had been struck by a car. She was taken to Delano Hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Investigators determined the incident was connected to a domestic dispute. The suspect, Benjamin Rodriguez, 28, was detained at the scene and later taken into custody.
