Fresno police have arrested a man in connection with the death of his 90-year-old father after a reported physical altercation at their northeast Fresno home.
Officers were dispatched Thursday at approximately 8:10 p.m. to a residence near Barton and Quincy avenues following a 911 call from Perry Michael Huffman, 69, who said he had been involved in a fight with another male inside the home.
Upon arrival, officers detained Huffman, who exited the residence peacefully.
Inside, they found the victim, Perry Leon Huffman, 90, unresponsive and suffering severe trauma.
Emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the elder Huffman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives confirmed that Perry Michael Huffman, visiting from out of state, was the son of the victim.
