Fresno police arrested 10 drivers Saturday night on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to a news release from the department.

Driver facing their their first DUI pay on average $13,500 in fines and penalties. They also get their licenses suspended.

The saturation patrol was part of a ongoing operation paid in part by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.

Another operation will be held July 4.
