(Reuters) – Wendy McMahon, the president and CEO of CBS News, will step down from her position, as the company and her have differing views on the path forward, according to a memo seen by Reuters on Monday.
McMahon, president and CEO of Paramount Global-owned CBS News and Stations and CBS Media Ventures since 2023, said in the memo that the last few months have been challenging.
“It’s become clear that the company and I do not agree on the path forward. It’s time for me to move on and for this organization to move forward with new leadership,” McMahon said.
