A coordinated gang suppression operation in Tulare led to the arrests of eight individuals Thursday, authorities said.

The Tulare Police Department, assisted by the Tulare County Gang Task Force, conducted compliance checks at approximately 30 residences tied to known gang members, followed by saturation patrols targeting gang activity, police said. Officers conducted about 38 traffic stops as part of the operation.

Among those arrested were Valentine Serrano, 43, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and a parole violation; Isabel Aguilera, 30, for drug possession and paraphernalia; and Donovan Ledesma, 33, for a parole violation.

William Stallworth, 30, was booked on multiple firearm-related charges, including possession of an illegally manufactured firearm, criminal storage of a firearm, and child endangerment, authorities said. Others arrested included Ramon Sanchez, 32, for drug possession with priors, and Ramiro Jimenez, 40, on a warrant for grand theft.

Two individuals, Jose Palomares, 32, and Gilberto Rojas, 26, were taken into custody on misdemeanor warrants.

All suspects were booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.

The operation was conducted with assistance from multiple agencies, including the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Visalia Police Department, and the California Department of Justice.
