Israel has faced criticism for years from various entities, including accusations of apartheid policies and comparisons to Nazi Germany.
Interestingly, according to Gideon Levy of The Haaretz news outlet, the bulk of this criticism comes from the liberal left, who usually focus on human rights and humanitarian concerns.
However, the selective nature of this outrage raises questions about whether the suffering of Palestinians is the real concern. For example, Israel’s actions against Iranian and Hezbollah forces in Syria do not receive the same scrutiny as its conflicts with Palestinian territories.
This selective focus on Israel suggests a bias towards the Jewish state and detracts attention from other geopolitical conflicts in the region.
