Founded in 1999 by musical director and trumpet player Cindy Shea, Mariachi Divas is an all-female ensemble that continues to expand the scope of mariachi music. Mariachi Divas is one of the most unique musical ensembles in the world, members ranging from Latin America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific Islands. The group specializes in providing professional mariachi music for commercials, television, and film recordings, as well as performing daily at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in Anaheim, California as the official mariachi of Disney California.

Over the years, they have performed, recorded and collaborated with artists such as Pepe Aguilar, Paquita la del Barrio, Celia Cruz, Luis Miguel, Joan Sebastian and Jenni Rivera. A two-time GRAMMY Award winner with seven GRAMMY nominations and three Latin GRAMMY nominations, Mariachi Divas are one of the longest-running all-female mariachi ensembles.
