Thieves stole an estimated $963,000 in rare Pokémon and sports trading cards from a FedEx truck outside a Santa Ana authentication business, ABC7 reported Tuesday.

Police said the Oct. 13 theft occurred near Professional Sports Authenticator, where collectors nationwide send cards for grading.

Two full pallets of cards and part of a third were taken, although authorities said the final value remains undetermined.

PSA’s parent company said it deactivated certificates for missing cards, alerted marketplace partners, and began arranging compensation for affected customers.

No arrests had been announced as of Tuesday, and Santa Ana police said the investigation remains ongoing.
