Fresno police arrested a 40-year-old man accused of assaulting a woman and a minor child with a stainless steel braided toilet connector early Monday morning.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. Police told GV Wire that the suspect, identified as Ismael Bautista Ramos, struck the victim on her left leg with the object, causing visible injuries.
Investigators said the victim and Ramos’ 2-year-old child witnessed the incident. Police also said Ramos struck another minor victim with the same object.
Ramos was arrested following the incident and booked into the Fresno County Jail. His bail is set at $30,000.
