Firefighters were battling a vegetation fire near Kettleman City on Friday that included an apparent vehicle fire.

Officials were not immediately available to say whether the burning vehicle started the fire.

It was not immediately clear how long the fire had been burning or how many acres had been affected.

In a video given to GV Wire, a burned car appears in front of a burned field.
