A 34-year-old Oakhurst man was arrested Wednesday after investigators executing a search warrant found electronic devices containing child sexual abuse material, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office said.

Detectives with the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, working with the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations, served a search warrant at a home near Meadow Lane and Pine Ridge Road.

According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation began after detectives received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children regarding the suspected possession of child sexual abuse material in Oakhurst.

Investigators identified Jeremy Michael Flud as the suspect. During the search, detectives said they found electronic devices belonging to Flud that contained child sexual abuse material.

Flud was arrested and booked into the Madera County Jail.

Authorities said all electronic devices associated with Flud were seized for further examination as the investigation continues.
