The Kingsburg Library is closed due to a gas leak in the vicinity of the branch on Wednesday, according to the Fresno County Public Library.

The City of Kingsburg is providing updates and said SoCalGas has located the source of the leak and is working on repairs.

Work continued overnight, and officials originally warned that the closures may extend into Wednesday business hours.

The closure affects the area from Workouts Unlimited at 1301 Draper St. to the Public Library at 1399 Draper St., including the public parking lot behind the library.
