Crunchyroll Goes Down for Thousands, Downdetector Reports

Crunchyroll experienced a possible outage Tuesday, according to Downdetector.com.

Crunchyroll is an American website and international online community that streams East Asian media, including anime, manga, drama, music, electronic entertainment, and auto racing content, Downdetector noted.

More than 4,400 users had reported problems with the platform as of 9:20 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing issues with server connection.

Update at 9:24 a.m.

More than 7,500 users have now reported an issue with the platform. On Crunchyroll’s platform status page, they indicate that all services are running normally.
