A crash at the intersection of Manning and Englehart avenues in Reedley sent a vehicle into an unoccupied building, California Highway Patrol said Friday.

CHP said a Toyota Corolla pulled into the path of a Honda Odyssey, causing a collision that propelled the Corolla into the building.

Authorities reported only complaints of pain injuries. No one was inside the building at the time of the crash.

CHP credited seatbelt use with helping prevent more serious injuries and reminded drivers to use caution at intersections.
