Trump Says Iran Will Spare Eight Women Protestors Facing Execution

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that eight women protestors in Iran will not be executed after what he described as a response from Iranian leaders to his request, Free Press Journal.
He said four would be released immediately and four would serve one month in prison, and praised Iranian leaders for agreeing to halt the executions.
Trump had previously urged Tehran to spare the women and framed their release as part of broader US-Iran contacts.
A report said new talks could begin in Pakistan within 36 to 72 hours, while Trump extended a ceasefire and ordered forces to maintain readiness.
