Sanger Police Department officers arrested a convicted felon and alleged gang member after finding him in possession of a loaded firearm and illegal narcotics during a patrol stop last week.
According to police, officers on routine patrol at about 10:05 p.m. Thursday contacted George Sanchez while he was riding a bicycle.
Police said Sanchez, who officers identified as a member of the Selma Bulldogs gang, was found carrying a loaded firearm and illegal narcotics.
Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
