A man wanted on a felony warrant was arrested Wednesday after barricading himself inside a laundromat in Frazier Park, authorities said.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said deputies located Justin Beall, 45, around 3 p.m. while on patrol in the 3500 block of Mt. Pinos Way.
Beall fled on foot when a deputy attempted to contact him inside a business and then barricaded himself in an unoccupied laundromat.
Deputies said they had previously tried to contact Beall on Aug. 26 in the same area, but he fled at that time.
On Wednesday, deputies gave multiple announcements for him to exit the building, and K-9 units were called in to assist. Beall was eventually taken into custody without further incident.
He was arrested for resisting arrest and on a felony warrant for vandalism and child endangerment, deputies said.
During the incident, Shelby Brousseau, 46, was also arrested after refusing to leave the scene and actively delaying deputies.
She was booked on charges of resisting and obstructing a peace officer.
