A traffic collision sent a car crashing into a Marie Callender’s restaurant in Visalia Wednesday morning after a driver ran a red light, police said.

The crash occurred around 7:29 a.m. at the intersection of Mooney Boulevard and Noble Avenue, according to the Visalia Police Department.

Officers determined one vehicle ran the red light and collided with another car, pushing it off the roadway and into the restaurant.

No injuries were reported.

With the school year beginning, police urged drivers to slow down, remain alert and watch for children near schools and crosswalks.
