As school quickly approaches, Fresno Unified is extending operational hours to offer evening registration for new students on Tuesday.

Families unable to register their student during daytime hours can head to their Fresno unified school from 5 to 7 p.m.

New students include those coming from another district, changing schools within Fresno Unified or enrolling in kindergarten.

To register, parents or guardians must bring proof of student’s age, previous transcripts, proof of address, and immunization and physical examination records. Find out what documentation will be accepted here.

“We are pleased to offer our families an opportunity in the evening to register their students prior to the start of school,” said Superintendent Misty Her. “Registering early takes some of the stress out of the first day and makes for a smoother start. I look forward to welcoming students back on Aug. 18.”

Fresno Unified encourages families with further questions to contact the school their student will be attending.
