A joint operation between the Fowler Police Department and Fresno County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of a suspect and the recovery of stolen firearms, drugs, ammunition and cash, authorities said.

The investigation began July 8, when Fowler police responded to a grand theft at a construction site near South and Sunnyside avenues.

Officers identified a suspect with ties to Fowler and Fresno.

On Thursday, search warrants were executed at two residences connected to the case.

The operation resulted in the suspect’s arrest and the seizure of multiple illegal items.
