A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after rolling a vehicle on Highway 168 near the bottom of the Four Lanes, the California Highway Patrol said on Wednesday.

According to CHP, the crash followed a day at the lake involving alcohol, sun, and what officials called “poor decisions.”

The vehicle overturned while heading down the highway, but no injuries were reported thanks to a properly worn seatbelt, police said.

“Not exactly the summer vibe [the driver] was going for,” CHP said in a social media post.

Authorities reminded the public to always plan ahead for a sober ride home, no matter where summer fun takes them.
