Fresno Unified School District is providing youth with free meals throughout the summer, ensuring good nutrition while school is out.
The free summer meals program, offered at locations throughout the city, begins Monday, June 16. Meals will be available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This offer is only available to children 1-18 and must be eaten on site.
“We are pleased to be able to provide free, nutritious meals for our students this summer. We hope families will take advantage of the 90 sites where meals will be served,” said Superintendent Misty Her.
The meals will be provided at all sites operating summer school. A list of all participating schools is available here.
The end date for meals varies by site. There will be no meal service on June 19 and July 4 due to holidays.
