(Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that Jeanine Pirro, who co-hosts ‘The Five’ on Fox News and whose previous roles include serving as Westchester County’s assistant district attorney, will be appointed interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.
Trump’s first pick Ed Martin, who holds the job on an interim basis, failed to garner enough support to advance in the U.S. Senate.
