Fresno police are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle linked to a shooting that left two people injured in central Fresno earlier this month.

Officers responded to Del Mar Avenue and Saginaw Way around 9:22 p.m. on April 12 after a ShotSpotter activation recorded 12 rounds fired and a caller reported two people had been struck by gunfire outside a nearby residence.

According to investigators, video captured a dark-colored vehicle circling the neighborhood before pulling up near the victims.

Occupants of the vehicle then opened fire multiple times before fleeing the area, police said.

Got a Tip?

Anyone with information about the vehicle or those involved is urged to contact Detective Alejandro Lopez at alejandro.lopez@fresno.gov or (559) 540-4343, or Detective Richard Gallegos at richard.gallegos@fresno.gov or (559) 547-7506.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP. Information leading to an arrest could result in a cash reward.
