A 20-year-old motorcyclist died Thursday evening following a collision with a vehicle near Walnut Avenue and Demaree Street, the Visalia Police Department reported Friday afternoon.

Officers responded to the scene just before 6 p.m. and determined the motorcyclist was traveling east on Walnut Avenue when he collided with a vehicle exiting a parking lot.
The motorcyclist was transported to Kaweah Health where he died, authorities said.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors, officials said.
