Craving a sandwich but don’t want to pay for it?

National sandwich chain Cheba Hut — which has one location in Fresno — is giving away four-inch sandwiches for free on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Called “nugs,” the marijuana-themed deli will let customers get anything they want on their sandwich, as long as supplies last, according to a news release from the Fort Collins, Colorado- based company.

Customers do not have to do anything besides show up in person. No app download or coupon is needed, the company says. The company said only one sandwich per person — they will be keeping an eye out, the release said.

Fresno has a Cheba Hut location at 3050 W. Shaw Ave. #116, at the intersection of Shaw and Marks avenues.

Though the company leans into the marijuana branding with their toasted sandwiches and special items such as “Acapulco Gold” or “Thai Stick,” no actual cannabis can be found in any of the sandwiches. A photo ID with proof of age is not required.

The promotion comes after delis across the nation celebrated National Sandwich Day on Nov. 2.
