GV Wire, The Kenneth L. Maddy Institute, and Fresno’s Community Media Access Collaborative (CMAC) hosted a debate featuring Fresno City Council District 6 candidates Roger Bonakdar and Nick Richardson. The candidates tackled a wide range of questions, including discussions on Proposition 33 (rent control), homelessness in Fresno, public safety, Measure H, and more.
Richardson, a Marine veteran and safety consultant, and Bonakdar, an attorney, are running to represent northeast Fresno. The current representative, Garry Bredefeld, will term out after the election.
