GV Wire will host a debate between incumbent Fresno County Supervisor Sal Quintero and challenger Luis Chavez, who is a Fresno City Councilmember. They are vying for the District 3 supervisorial seat. The debate is tonight, Thursday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m.

Bill McEwen, GV Wire’s news director, will moderate the event, focusing on each candidate’s vision for District 3 and their plans to address key community issues.

The debate will be live-streamed on GV Wire’s Facebook page, allowing the public to tune in and hear directly from the candidates.

The production is made possible in collaboration with CMAC, Fresno’s Community Media Access Collaborative.
