Original Story

Authorities are investigating a homicide after a man was found fatally stabbed at a residence on Wednesday night, the Pismo Beach Police Department reported on social media.

Officers responded to a call around 9:26 p.m. regarding an unresponsive male at a home in the 1200 block of Price Street.

 

Officers found a man with a stab wound and he died at the scene.

A suspect was identified shortly afterward and he fled to the Ventura area, where he later attempted suicide, police said.

The suspect is receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Ventura under the supervision of Pismo Beach police officers.

The investigation is ongoing. No further details, including the identities of those involved, have been released.
