Sen. Hawley Calls on Gen. Milley, Defense Secretary Austin to Resign

U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri once again called on Army Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to resign during a congressional hearing this week on the chaotic evacuation of U.S. forces from Afghanistan in late August. Hawley, who has made similar pronouncements in the past, said U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin should also resign.
