Comedian Anjelah Johnson-Reyes will entertain Eagle Mountain Casino on Saturday, Jan. 11. She’s best known for her stint on the series “MADtv” during its 13th season where she brought the characters Mỹ Linh/Tammy and Bon Qui Qui to life. Her Bon Qui Qui videos made her a YouTube sensation.
Johnson-Reyes has appeared in films like “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” and “Our Family Wedding.” Two of her comedy specials have premiered on Netflix, one on Amazon, and two on YouTube. She was a former Oakland Raiders cheerleader before she became a comedian.
She authored the book “Who Do I Think I Am?” Her accents, depictions of Latin American culture, her examination of being ghetto and famous, and being a California girl living in the south has garnered her a devoted following.
