The state of California is rolling out a new way to apply for, renew, and manage benefits via the BenefitsCal website.

BenefitsCal replaces C4Yourself, YourBenefitsNow, and MyBenefitsCalWIN, to provide “one unified experience for all Californians, everywhere,” state officials say.

In Fresno County, the switch to BenefitsCal occurs on Monday, Sept. 4. On that day, the website will become a one-stop shop for the following:

  • CalFresh
  • CalWORKs
  • Medi-Cal
  • CMSP (County Medical Services Program)
  • Disaster CalFresh
  • GA/GR (General Assistance and General Relief )

GV Wire is sharing videos in English, Spanish, and Hmong that explain how BenefitsCal works and what you need to do to transition to the new system.
