Madera police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man seen skipping toward a front porch before stealing a package. (Madera PD)

Madera police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man captured on surveillance video taking a package from the front porch of a residence.

Surveillance video released by the City of Madera Police Department shows the man doing a small skip as he approaches a package on the porch before taking it.

Authorities did not provide additional details about when or where the theft occurred.
