Eastbound Jensen Avenue between Sarah Street and East Avenue will close beginning Monday, for emergency sewer repair work, according to the city of Fresno.
City officials said the closure is expected to remain in place for approximately two months, although the timeline could change because of unforeseen delays.
Westbound Jensen Avenue will remain open during construction. Access to businesses located on the south side of Jensen Avenue within the closure area will be maintained throughout the project.

The southbound Jensen Avenue exit ramp from Highway 99 will stay open and unrestricted, but drivers may experience congestion because of the emergency work.
