Island Water Park is celebrating its 28th anniversary by hosting a job fair on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at its administrative offices.
The park said it plans to hire about 100 workers during the event, filling positions including lifeguards, cooks, cashiers, ticket attendants, housekeeping staff, cabana servers, beverage servers, rentals, and park services.
Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and complete an application online ahead of time to streamline the interview process. The park said it will conduct hiring on the same day.
The park partners with StarGuard Elite for lifeguard training and certification, which it described as an internationally recognized program.
Work perks at the park include employee slide nights, family and friends days, prizes, and discounts.
The park also highlighted recent additions, including BBQ COVE, which features 30 BBQ sites designed for family gatherings with space for pop-up tents, lawn chairs, games and outdoor activities.
Season passes are currently on sale.
The Platinum Pass includes free admission to July 3 and 4 fireworks events, nine Island Family Nights featuring food trucks, live entertainment, and fireworks shows.
