Sunshine, a 5-month-old terrier mix with a name that fits her personality, is looking for her forever home after bouncing back from a tough start.
The 12-pound pup was rescued by animal control after being hit by a car, leaving her with a broken leg that required surgery and six weeks of crate rest.
Now fully healed, Sunshine has rediscovered her puppy energy — playful, sassy, and ready for new adventures.
According to Mell’s Mutts, the rescue organization caring for her, Sunshine is good with kids, curious about cats, and adores every dog and human she meets. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and up to date on all her shots.
To adopt Sunshine or see other available dogs, visit Mell’s Mutts.
Prospective adopters must submit an adoption application for review to ensure the best match for each pup.
